Many do not take full advantage of the header, the menu and the emotional connection. • Things that can be wrong with a Website • The importance of the home page, the header, the menu, the feel and look of the site • The importance of creating an emotional connection • Two things that you can use to enhance your Website This workshop is ideal for people who are planning to start a business and small business owners looking to take their business to the next level. We welcome manufacturing companies and decision makers in other industries. About the Presenter: Nelson Merchan is a business advisor with the Small Business Development Center based in Danbury at the Danbury Chamber of Commerce. Services are offered free of charged to entrepreneurs interested in growing their businesses. Nelson received, from the SBA, the 2013 Home-Based Business Champion for the State of Connecticut. A Home-Based Business Champion is an individual who has experienced the rewards and difficulties of owning a home-based business and has volunteered to improve the climate for these businesses. As a Danbury SCORE chapter chairman and counselor, Nelson contributed to the significant growth of the chapter during 2013. The SBA awarded this chapter with the “Eagle Award” for its Outstanding Contribution in the State of Connecticut. Nelson was born in Colombia and has an MBA from Georgia State University. He is working towards his Certificate in Digital Marketing at NYU.
