CANCELED: "Alice's Ordinary People" Documentary Film

2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Danbury Library
Farioly Program Room

Event Details

We are sorry, the program has been canceled. "Alice’s Ordinary People" is a documentary about Alice Tregay - a heroine of the Civil Rights Movement and a woman who refused to stand still in the face of injustice. Alice and her colleagues present first-hand accounts of the Chicago Freedom Movement and other historical events - including some important items that the historical texts omitted. It is an inspiration to future generations, as they take up the mantle and continue the fight. Following the film, documentarian Craig Dudnick will speak about the film process and the inspiration behind the making of "Alice’s Ordinary People." Free. Registration is required. For information contact Librarian Elizabeth Connell, 203.797.4505.
