Learn how to program your own video game using Scratch! Scratch is an easy-to-learn programming language that can be used to make games and animated videos. Kids are invited to learn how to program a simple game and try games that other people have made. Scratch was created by the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab, and is available for free at https://scratch.mit.edu/. It includes an online community where creators can share projects and see the code that powers each project.
