Small Business Series: Simple Steps for Starting Your Own Business Been thinking about starting your own business but don't know where to start? This FREE, 5-part workshop series, conducted by a team of professionals from SCORE's Fairfield and Western CT chapters, will give you a solid foundation to make your thoughts become reality. Session 1: Self-Assessment/Business Plan Learn about the risks and rewards of starting a business in today's competitive marketplace. The traits of successful entrepreneurs will be discussed for the purpose of assessing one's innate and acquired ability to start and manage a successful business. The session will also focus on structuring a dynamic business plan. Registrants are expected to attend all five sessions and will receive a Certificate of Completion.
