Farioly Program Room

Event Details

Because it is a composite of many other languages, our American language offers many opportunities for amusement, amazement and "Aha" moments. This is the final program in the 3-part series presented by local resident and author Dan Wolinsky. Program description: "The Names They Left Behind": Unknowingly, our conversation includes the names of people long since gone. Who were they and why do we still use their names as part of our every day speech? Hear their stores and lean why and how their names became what are now called "eponyms". Free. Registration is encouraged, call 203-797-4527 or online.
