Wow! Musicians from the Juilliard School are coming to Danbury! Children who love music will love this lively performance. See the instruments up close and hear the beautiful music that is created by these talented performers. The musicians will explain the music and how playing an instrument is a lot like playing a sport. The Juilliard School’s mission is to provide the highest caliber of artistic education for gifted musicians, dancers, and actors from around the world, so that they may achieve their fullest potential as artists, leaders, and global citizens. The Danbury Music Centre was founded in 1935 to support and present classical music in the greater Danbury area. The Centre is housed in the former Danbury Library building at 256 Main Street.
