Join us for this timely and controversial book discussion about of a fictional African American teenager on trial for murder. Books are available at the Junior Services Desk. Myers is a five-time winner of the Coretta Scott King Award for African-American authors. "Monster" received the Michael L. Printz Award in 2000 as well as the Coretta Schott King Honor Award. In 1999 it was also nominated for the National Book Award for Young People's Literature. Registration Required.
