Write our next chapter! Everyone is invited to this focus group session to help guide the Danbury Library's next strategic plan. We're looking for up to 20 participants to tell us their ideas and opinions about the future of the library. You will be in a group with other interested participants. 

Come to the library this April and make some art out of supplies from nature. In this program, you’ll use materials like cardboard, paint, pinecones and pinecone needles to make your own Fish in the Sky Craft.

Ever wonder what is inside a personal computer?  Satisfy your curiosity and join us in this workshop by taking apart and putting back together a personal computer.

STRIDES students will continue learning about library professions, and help out with everyday library tasks.

APEX Community Care will have an information table set up on the Main Floor of the Library.  APEX Community Care's mission is to advocate for and provide services to people living with HIV/AIDS, mental health, and substance use disorders, their families, and loved ones and to actively promote education and prevention in the community.   

Adults of all skill levels are invited to participate in our weekly Adult Chess Club. Improve your game, learn new strategies, and compete against other chess players each week. William Mattison is an experienced chess player and he will be on hand to teach basic beginner moves and strategy for the more experienced player.

Join us for our Mystery book club where each month we will ask that you read and then come to discuss a selected mystery. Bring your lunch to munch on and after the discussion stay to solve a mystery yourself.  Books may be requested to place on hold when you register.
