Start Time: 7:00 PM
End Time: 8:30 PM
Author James Gladstone used the Greenwich Library for years before moving to Hollywood where he has written The Man Who Seduced Hollywood: The Life and Loves of Greg Bautzer, Tinseltown's Most Powerful Lawyer. During the golden age of movies Bautzer was famous for romancing leading ladies. He was engaged to Lana Turner and Dorothy Lamour and had tabloid-fodder relationships with Joan Crawford, Ginger Rogers, Jane Wyman, Ava Gardner, Rita Hayworth, Peggy Lee, Paulette Goddard, and scores of others.

But Bautzer wasn't just a Don Juan, he was also the most powerful attorney the entertainment industry has ever known, representing the richest man in the world -- Howard Hughes. In addition to new information about Hughes and chapters on all his major love affairs, this book includes never-before-told stories about Bautzer's other well-known clients and friends such as Frank Sinatra, Ingrid Bergman, Rock Hudson, Bugsy Siegel, Robert Evans, Kirk Kerkorian and many more.

In addition to discussing the book, Mr. Gladstone will also discuss his experiences in the motion picture business over the last 28 years working for the companies that released such pictures as Dirty Dancing, The Blair Witch Project, The Hunger Games, and the Mad Men television series. Presented by AuthorsLive at the Greenwich Library and co-sponsored with Diane's Books who will have copies available at the talk for sale and signing.
Doors to the Cole will open at 6:30 for the talk at 7.
