M&M Productions Acting Co. will perform this Broadway hit of 2010 which starred Laurie Linney. The author stated that the meaning of the play was "to capture a sense of the way we live now, to dramatize the things that thinking, feeling, moral people are thinking about and struggle with".

War and its devastating toll on those who bear witness is the heart of Donald Margulies’“Time Stands Still.” Written during the Iraqi conflict, Margulies’ thought-provoking play could not be timelier or more prescient as America contemplates confrontation with Syria. The multi-layered work is also a love story in which two journalists caught in the quagmire of global conflict are forced to re-examine their lives and relationship.

M&M has performed at this library many times. Larry Schneider will direct. The play is geared towards adults and seniors.

Associated Press says, "Smart, stylish, and timely. ...Donald Margulies's play is layered with an intriguing seriousness that inspires discussion long after the curtain comes down."

This performance is free.
