 This event, which takes place during Black History Month, celebrates the music of Duke Ellington and the immense impact he has had on Jazz. Distinguished musicians performing in Saturday's Peterson concert include saxophonist Bennie Wallace, bassist George Mraz, pianist Donald Vega, guitarist Bobby Broom, drummer Billy Drummond and percussionist Luisito Quintero. A panel discussion focusing on Ellington will follow the concert. Moderated by Bennie Wallace, the discussion will focus on the influence Ellington's music has had on the afternoon's performers.
