Event Details

Children ages 8 to 12 will create their own newspaper about happenings and people at the library. In the 4 consecutive sessions kids will interview their peers and staff members, take photos, and write articles. Their name will appear on every article they write. When the class is over, they will get to take home a newspaper they can be proud of and share with others! The class is taught by Sandra Diamond Fox, an established journalist who has written for several local newspapers and magazines. Ms. Fox, a mother of four, teaches a Hot off the Press class as part of the Wooster School's summer camp program in Danbury. She is also an adjunct professor of Journalism at Norwalk Community College and has a master's degree in Publishing. Registration is required and the class is limited to 10 students.
