Celebrate Women's History Month with a dramatic presentation by actress Gretchen Trapp. This inspiring one-woman show depicts the remarkable stories of Sojourner Truth, Louisa May Alcott and Clara Schumann. Ms. Trapp spotlights the challenges each woman faced, how they overcame adversity with courage and strength, and how their choices continue to benefit 21st century women today. Gretchen Trapp is an actress, writer and artist living in Bethlehem, CT. In addition to her acting work, she has written three plays and written and illustrated a children's chapter book. Ms. Trapp researched and wrote "Women of Character, Courage and Commitment" specifically for library audiences and has performed frequently statewide. The program is proudly co-sponsored with the Danbury Museum, located at 43 Main Street, Danbury.
